Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak is heading into the 2025-26 NHL season without his lifelong friend Brad Marchand, and many have wondered if his departure from the organization has affected their real life friendship.

Recently, Pastrnak spoke out during an interview on a Czech media outlet and made his true feelings known on the longtime Bruins captain.
Fans have been through a rollercoaster this past season in Boston, and it appears that there's only a slim list of familiar faces. that fans will recongize once the puck is dropped for the regular season; where did the rest go?
Brandon Carlo to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Brad Marchand to the Panthers, were just two of several trades Don Sweeney made during the NHL's March 7th trade deadline that caused a major shake in the Bruins' roster.
Despite the downside of all the losses, they still have the second-best winger in the entire NHL, the NHL Network revealed David Pastrnak's very high on their rankings.

A poor offer from GM Don Sweeney led to Marchand's departure, which surely upset Pastrnak, a lifelong linemate and friend of Marchand.
But it appears that he is no longer phased by it, as he's sent a clear message to Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers team.
Pastrnak's confident in his group without Marchand, knowing he still has Stanley Cup winners surrounding him.
"Nothing changes. It wouldn't change if I had the C or Charlie McAvoy. We're all in this together, we still have guys in the locker room who've won the Stanley Cup."

«I know I'm a leader and Boston's game will depend on me. We have to continue to work together, improve and help the young guys.»

"Going into this year, we're both going to have A's. That's what I know. I don't think there's any fire under them to do anything with that. And guess what? That's totally fine."
Pastrnak's sounding like he's quite fierce and prepared to take on Brad Marchand and the Panthers, which will go down on October 21st when Florida heads to the TD Garden.
