Following the NHL trade deadline, multiple reports came out that Brad Marchand rejected two contract offers from the Boston Bruins, and now a recent report has confirmed what the Boston Bruins offered Marchand before trading him.
The Boston Bruins shocked fans during the NHL trade deadline, trading multiple veteran leaders including Brad Marchand, Brandon Carlo, and Charlie Coyle.

A new report has come out and confirmed what the Boston Bruins actually offered Brad Marchand.
According to Paul Bissonnette the Boston Bruins offered Brad Marchand $6.125 million, which is the exact same as the contract he is signed too right now. Marchand's camp reportedly asked for $7.5 million.
This is when Marchand called for a meeting and stated that he was willing to meet in the middle, but the Boston Bruins would not budge.
Marchand was then traded to the Florida Panthers, the only other team he wanted to play for.
