Disrespectful: Bruins new fan favourite faces backlash after jersey number swap
Mark Kastelic was acquired in the Linus Ullmark trade with the Ottawa Senators, which saw the Vezina Trophy winner sent to the Canadian capital, for what could be considered a less-than-stellar return.
Of course that depends upon, how Kastelic, Korpisalo, and Letourneau fare in the Boston Bruins system.
You could be optimistic with Korpisalo as he has Bob Essensa to coach him into greatness, and Letourneau isn't even done developing.
Seeing Kastelic rock the 47 is going to be weird at first for me

However, Mark Kastelic more or less has always been a depth forward in the NHL, a grinder who of course serves a purpose.
But he may anger fans, who still love
Torey Krug, and you may ask why?
Krug wore #47 from 2012-2020 and was a fan favorite during his time here, and Kastelic has chosen to wear it for the 2024-2025 season.
While each player has their own motivation for their numbers, you might want to recognize tenure when it comes to players before you, especially if you're new in Boston.
Kastelic played 63 games with the Ottawa Senators, posting 10 points( 5 G, 5 A) and has a face-off percentage of 54.4%
