Don Sweeney ended up meeting with the media today for the first time after their first training camp session concluded, and he publicly took a shot at goaltender Jeremy Swayman.

It's no doubt that Jeremy Swayman needs to have a bounce back season this year, and he has publicly admitted that he needs to be better.
«Sitting here, Jeremy Swayman is in a great spot and I'm really excited about that. To have that approach of creating the culture, creating my self-culture to be elite and hopefully it'll bleed into this room,» he said.
Today, the Bruins held their first training camp session, and Jeremy Swayman was in attendance, which was different then last year.
Last year, Swayman held out of training camp and preseason while him and the Bruins were negotiating a contract.
Don Sweeney took this chance to take a slight shot at Jeremy Swayman during his press conference today.

Sweeney thanks Swayman for being in attendance at training camp

During his press conference, Don Sweeney took the opportunity to take a little shot at Swayman by thanking him for being in attendance at camp.
With a smile on his face, Don Sweeney said he "thanked him for his attendance on the first day of camp" when he saw Jeremy Swayman on Wednesday morning at Warrior
After having a solid performance at the IIHF World Championship, Swayman is confident that he will have a bounce back year.
And if the Boston Bruins want to be a competitive team once again this year, the Bruins are going to rely on Swayman a lot.
