A major devleopment has surfaced in former Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic returning back to the NHL.

Last night, Lucic ended up getting released from his professional tryout contract that he signed with the St. Louis Blues' AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Now, there is some speculation that he could sign with a different team, which is considered to be a contender.
After signing a PTO with the Blues in the off-season, Lucic suffered injuries that held him back from playing, causing him to lose out on the opportunity to earn a contract out of it.
The Blues announced that once Lucic got healthy once again, they were going to sign him to another PTO, and they did just that.
Unfortunately, Lucic did not impress them during his four games played, and he was released from his PTO.
Lucic is looking to return back to the NHL for the first time since he returned back to the Bruins in 2023. That did not last long, as some personal things happened.

Lucic linked to the Golden Knights?

Milan Lucic has made a lot of progress since stepping away from the NHL, but fans on social media are linking the Vegas Golden Knights to signing him due to the reputation they got once they signed Carter Hart.
This is just pure speculation from fans, and there is a good chance that nothing even comes out of it.
If not, there is a good chance that Lucic's career is coming to an end, as it's hard to see another team give him a chance given his age and everything.
Do you think Milan Lucic is going to sign with another NHL team or call it a career?
