After missing nearly the entire year, Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm issued a statement on his health heading into the new season, and he is reportedly good to go.
He would go on to leave the game, and wouldn't return. It was later reported that he ended up fracturing his knee cap from blocking the shot, and was originally given a 6-8 week window before returning to the ice.
Unfortunately for him, and the Boston Bruins, Lindholm would not appear in another game for them during the season, finishing the year with just 17 games player, three goals, four assist for seven points.
It seems like he is ready and good to go for the new season though, as he just issued a statement on his health entering the new year.
Hampus Lindholm claims to be 100% healthy
It's clear that the Boston Bruins missed Hampus Lindholm last year, and losing him for majority of the year did not help them with their disastrous season.
But he may be able to help them have a bounce back year, as he recently spoke with Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe, and stated he is good to go for the beginning of training camp.
Enjoyable phone chat this week with Hampus Lindholm (for this Sunday's hockey notes). B's veteran D'man says fractured kneecap is fully healed -- and he is 100 pct go for Sept. 17 start of camp. Hopes to be w/ Three Crowns in Milano-Cortina for '26 Games.
With the Boston Bruins looking to have a bounce back year, this is some major news, especially considering that he was one of their top defenseman before going down with this injury.
