Last night, Thursday, April 10, the Bruins took on the Chicago Blackhawks, and Boston's top defenseman, Nikita Zadorov, was revealed to be suited up a little differently.

The Bruins may have taken an unfortunate 5-2 loss against the Blackhawks yesterday, yet, their 29-year old defenseman experienced a day he will never forget.
Prior to taking on the ice, Zadorov was spotted with a hospital bracelet wrapped around his wrist, revealing his wife, Aleksandra, just gave birth to the defenseman's baby boy, Zlatan, earlier that day.

The Boston Bruins posted on social media via 'X' to congratulate the Zadorov family

Take a look:

Congratulations to Zadorov and his wife Aleksandra on welcoming a baby boy, Zlatan, earlier today!
Although the Bruins recently acquired Nikita Zadorov last year in a six-year contract on July 1, 2024, the defenseman seems to have quickly found a home in Boston, as the organization reveals just how ecstatic they are for their defenseman.
The Boston Bruins fan-base also revealed their excitement for Zadorov:
Many fans have also announced their speculations, suggesting that Nikita and his wife named their son after a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovi.
Despite the assumptions, Zadorov and his family have not revealed that there little boy was intended to be named after the one and only, Ibrahimovi.
Congratulations to Nikita Zadorov's family, and welcome to the world Zlatan!
