The Boston Bruins could be targeting UFA Mitch Marner in the off-season, but according to the Bruins Diehards, there are some doubts.

The Boston Bruins could ostensibly sign Toronto Maple Leafs Mitch Marner during the offseason.
The former 100-point forward could be a potential addition to the Bruins if GM Don Sweeney does his due diligence and makes an offer to the superstar.
That is "IF" he does, according to the Bruins Diehards who explored the idea on YouTube.
He believes that the article assumes that they'll pursue Marner in July. Which would be believable since the Bruins aren't going to prioritize a rebuild over a retool, the sooner they become competitive again, the better.
Since the Leafs did try to trade him twice, Sweeney could use this as leverage in July when selling the Bruins to Marner.
So while there hasn't been any confirmation of the team being interested in Marner at the moment, the "Bruins Diehards" re-frame it in a way that sounds more likely.
"It makes sense for the Bruins to be interested in Mitch Marner."
After taking care of Morgan Geekie, the Bruins will have to explore what they could offer one of their rivals' superstar forwards.
Marner's ask could be upwards of $14 million AAV, after three seasons where he consecutively posted 90+ points.
While we're far out from July, it may be early to assume the Bruins have made moves to acquire Marner so soon. It could be considered tampering if they have already started talking to him, due to league rules.
