Yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, April 9, a report was revealed regarding the Boston Bruins' former player and draft pick, Anton Blidh, who has officially agreed to a contract with an opposing team.

The 30-year old forward, Anton Blidh, was selected by the Boston Bruins in the sixth round (180th overall) of the 2013 NHL draft, where he signed his entry-level contract on May 29, 2015, and continued to spend the next six years with the Bruins before being traded to the Colorado Avalanche in the 2022/23 season, and then to the New York Rangers in the 2023/24 season.
However, following the forward's breakout year, Blidh has reportedly signed a two-year contract extension with his current organization, the New York Rangers.
Take a look:
Blidh has undoubtedly made a name for himself within his time with the New York Rangers organization, especially with their AHL team, the Hartford Wolf Pack, as this season thus far the 30-year old has accumulated 17 goals, 14 assists, racking himself 31 points within 67 games.
He even suited up for one game with the New York Rangers this season, however, he unfornately failed to produce anything other than a minor penalty.
The Hartford Wolf Pack is seemingly ecstatic for this veteran to make his appearance with the organization for at least two more years, as he has been known to be a great mentor for the younger players in the league and continues to play every single game with drive and dedication.
