Mason McTavish's trade fate with the Boston Bruins was just confirmed

All off-season, the Anaheim Ducks and Mason McTavish have been far apart in contract agreements.
Entering this season the Boston Bruins have been looking for a top-six forward, and many believed that if they were to trade for McTavish, he could be the answer.
This led to the Boston Bruins being in a bunch of trade rumors with him, but now Elliotte Friedman has confirmed his fate.
McTavish was looking for a long-term contract, where the Ducks wanted to go a shorter term, which led to all the trade rumors.
Just recently, it was reported that the two parties were far apart still on a new deal, but it seems like things changed today.
Mason McTavish re-signs with the Anaheim Ducks
According to Elliotte Friedman, the Anaheim Ducks and Mason McTavish came to an agreement on a contract.
He reported that the Anaheim Ducks signed McTavish to a six-year, $7 million deal today, locking up their 2C for the future.

McTavish ended up scoring 22 goals, and 52 points in 76 games with the Ducks last season.
The Ducks have one of the better prospect pools in the league, and are filled with a bunch of young talented players.
In the future, these guys are going to be a power house in the NHL.
