The Bruins have been the perfect example of a bonded group all season long, and it was never more evident than Brad Marchand's angry outburst on Thursday night.
In the first period, captain Patrice Bergeron took a high and late hit from Canadiens' forward Rem Pitlick and Marchand immediately reacted and took exception.
As any good teammate would do, Marchand stood up for the Bruins captain and head coach Jim Montgomery shared nothing but praise for the winger post-game.
'You don't hit our captain late. That was a three-second late hit. I love the fact that Marchand made the guy pay a price for doing it.''
This is the perfect example of how Marchand is the ultimate teammate, and it's safe to say that he might do anything for another in the black and gold.
