Multiple Boston Bruins players suddenly leave the organization

Multiple Boston Bruins will be leaving the organization following recent announcements.

It was announced that both defensemen Derek Forbort and forward Oskar Steen will both not be back with the organization next year.

It was first reported by David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period that Derek Forbort will be testing free agency and will not be back with the Bruins next year.

Recently it came out that Oskar Steen was told by the organization that he has permission to test out the free agent market as the Bruins don't see a fit for him on the team.

The Bruins drafted Steen in the 6th round in 2016 and has only appeared in 60 NHL games for the team. In those 60 games Steen has only scored 8 points, 4 goals and 4 assists.

It is clear the Bruins have a direct path they are following this off-season and both of these players do not fit what the Bruins are looking for.
