Multiple Bruins reporters may have just leaked if the Bruins will be replacing Jim Montgomery
GM Don Sweeney, and owner Jeremy Jacobs have to be upset at this moment in time, as the Bruins have had a slow start to the 2024-2025 season.
One of those who could see a change in their position soon, as a result of the team's 4-5-1 start is Head Coach Jim Montgomery.
Montgomery has failed to build the correct lineup in order to capture the most wins possible, with the current Bruins roster.
While the Bruins have done more with less, it's arguable that the team has a roster with less chemistry overall, than they did in 2022-2023.
Of course, Monty is not fully to blame, as Don Sweeney has a share of the blame for creating a subpar Bruins roster.
However, as Evan Marinofsky stated, one of the first dominoes to fall in the NHL would be the head coach.
What a scary notion than on Halloween to entertain the fact that a winning head coach, could be out of a job soon.

Maybe Montgomery could change up his style, since it doesn't seem to be working this season. Quality is something to aim for, but until then quantity always wins in hockey, especially if you can force your opponent to play your game.
For now, the speculation is ongoing that Montgomery could be out as the Bruins head coach in the near future.
