Hampus Lindholm is trending after a heartwarming surprise he made with David Pastrnak and his daughter.
Two Boston Bruins players in David Pastrnak and Hampus Lindholm were trending after a video went viral on Christmas.
Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm has been out of action since November with a fractured knee after blocking a shot from Justin Faulk of the St. Louis Blues.
This didn't stop the defenseman from surprising David Pastrnak's daughter dressed up as Santa Claus. David Pastrnak posted the video to his Instagram story with a video of Hampus Lindholm dressed up as Santa Claus and handing a gift to Pastrnak's daughter Freya.

This isn't the first time we have seen a Boston Bruins player dress up as Santa Claus for Christmas and give a gift to a teammates family, as two years ago Jeremy Swayman did the exact same thing for Linus Ullmark.

It's unclear whether or not David Pastrnak will dress up for the Boston Bruins on Friday when they return to action as he ended up leaving Monday's game with an upper-body injury, and not returning.
UPDATE: David Pastrnak (upper-body) is unlikely to return to tonight's game.
Hampus Lindholm was given a six week timeline to return to the Boston Bruins lineup, but it's still unclear how much longer he will be out of the Bruins lineup for.
