Don Sweeney took his sweet time to announce the Boston Bruins 30th head coach in franchise history, but it seems like he actually made the right choice.
Today, it was confirmed that the Boston Bruins have hired Marco Sturm as their next head coach.

The Boston Bruins were the last team in the off-season to officially name their head coach after teams like the Seattle Kraken, Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers, New York Rangers, and Pittsburgh Penguins all found their guy before the Bruins.
This didn't leave the Bruins with the most options, as a lot of the top head coaches were taken off the board.
Sturm Issues An Exciting Message To Fans
After being named as head coach of the Boston Bruins, former fan favourite had a message for fans:
Hey Bruins fans it's Marco Sturm, I'm so excited, and happy and honoured to be the new head coach and be back in Boston. I had a great time here as a player and im really looking forward to lead this team and be behind the bench. Let's do it together Boston. Looking forward to seeing you!
It will be interesting to see how well of a job Sturm can do with the Boston Bruins after the year they had last year. He has an impressive track record, but is going to have his work cut out for him.
