The Boston Bruins have one huge positive coming out of a disappointing 2025-2026 season, and that is the trio of Morgan Geekie, David Pastrnak, and Elias Lindholm.

The Boston Bruins are fortunate to have David Pastrnak in the lineup. As he's not only their best forward but one piece in a foundation of the team's new top-line, which consists of players you'd never expect.
One of those players is Elias Lindholm, whom the team signed to a nice 7-year, $54 million deal in the offseason. He'd start the year hot with 5 points ( 2 goals, 3 assists) and would go cold soon after. But since then, he's recovered to post 43 points (17 goals, 26 assists) in 78 games with the Bruins.
He was signed to play smart, two-way hockey, a quality missing from the lineup since Patrice Bergeronand David Krejci's retirement. Now, at the end of 2024-2025, he's re-emerged to perform that role well.
While Morgan Geekie has been another bright spot for the Bruins this season, his performance and chemistry with David Pastrnak have produced great results for the Bruins.
Both Pastrnak and Geekie put up five points in a dominating win over the Carolina Hurricanes, 5-1. Lindholm would produce 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and be a big contributor between the two players that night.
The trio's play would remain a factor in the team's 6-3 loss to the Sabres, but we wouldn't see the kind of play we wanted from Lindholm until he showed up in New Jersey during the 7-2 win.
Forcing turnovers, creating plays, is what we saw Lindholm do that night.
The trio needs to find a way to keep the chemistry flowing into 2025-2026 and they can help put the Bruins on their best footing.
