Leading up to their game tonight, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney has announced an unexpected two player emergency roster transaction.

With the Boston Bruins officially being eliminated from the playoffs, they are finally starting to give some prospects a chance during the final set of games they have left, and now they are giving another prospect an opportunity to prove himself.
Not long ago, the Boston Bruins shocked fans when they announced that Fraser Minten was getting a chance with the team.
They have also been giving Fabian Lysell some good looks as well to try and prove himself down the final stretch of the year, and he's looked pretty solid for the team.
Now the Bruins are giving another prospect an opportunity with three games remaining in the season.

Bruins Announce A Two Player Roster Transaction

Today, General Manager Don Sweeney announced that the Bruins have recalled forward Riley Duran on an emergency basis, and have reassigned Patrick Brown back down to the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.
Duran has recorded 12 goals this season with the Providence Bruins along with 4 assits, for 16 points in 58 games.
Riley Duran, 23, is a quick, high-effort grinder with a good shot, speed and athleticism. The Woburn native is up to 12G-4A-16PTS in 58GP as a rookie pro in Providence, mainly playing bottom-six roles. Nice to see Boston reward a young depth forward this time around. #NHLBruins
Since being drafted by the Boston Bruins in the sixth round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old will finally make his NHL debut tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks.
