Since being acquired, Minten has been in the American Hockey League with the
Providence Bruins, and put on a show during Sunday's game against the Springfield Thunderbirds.
The former 2022 second-round pick went on to score his first goal since being acquired by the Bruins off of a nice pass from
Georgii Merkulov to put Providence ahead 1-0.
Later on in the game,
Minten went on to score two more goals to complete a natural hat trick.
Here are all three of Minten's goals that lead the Providence Bruins to a 4-1 win:
Minten would complete the game with three goals and an assists after picking up the primary assist on
Riley Duran's third-period goal.
One of the most impressive things about Minten, is his willingness to crash the net and get to the dirty areas, something
the Boston Bruins have desperately needed.
Minten is not expected to play any NHL games this year, and should be left with the Providence Bruins to fully develop.
After the game, the American Hockey League made a massive announcement regarding Fraser Minten.
