Patrice Bergeron has been out of the lineup since the first period of the Bruins regular season finale, he provided his own update on Tuesday.
Although he hasn't appeared in Boston's opening round series against the Florida Panthers, the captain skated with his team for the first time this morning.
According to Conor Ryan of Boston.com, Bergeron shared some positive news regarding his nagging injury. As per Ryan:
''Today is a good day and we'll see tomorrow ... I'm not anticipating any setbacks. So far, so good.''

Despite Bergeron himself expecting to be in the lineup for game five, Jim Montgomery was a little more discreet on the veteran's availability. Noting that he still has ''a couple'' more boxes to check beforehand.
''First practice with the team; we'll see how he is tomorrow morning.''
Jimmy Murphy of Boston Hockey Now was at Warrior Ice Arena for the Bruins morning skate, and shared a clip of Bergeron greeting teammates.
Take it how you will, but it looks like a guy ready for playoff hockey!
