Boston Bruins acquire a player through a PTO signing: New details have emerged

With training camp right around the corner, teams are going to start signing some players to PTO's, and a perfect candidate has emerged for the Boston Bruins.
We are now in August, and this is normally the time you start to see teams sign remaining free agents to professional tryout contracts (PTO).
The Boston Bruins roster is still lacking some things heading into the new year, meaning it wouldn't be a terrible idea to take a shot on a player, and sign him to a PTO.
Taking a look at some of the unrestricted free agents remaining, there is currently one player who sticks out the most for the
Bruins to sign to a PTO, and that's former Vegas Golden Knights forward Victor Olofsson.
Olofsson makes a lot of sense for the Bruins
The fact that Olofsson is still available is pretty surprising, especially given how good of a season he just had with the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Boston Bruins could use some extra skill heading into the new season, and Olofsson could be that guy for them.
Olofsson had a bounce back year with the Golden Knights, scoring 15 goals, 29 points and was a plus-17 in just 56 games.
With the Boston Bruins also needing some secondary scoring, this would be a perfect addition.
Throughout his career, he has proven that he can be impactful offensively, proving that by scoring 20 goals and over 40 points three times during his seven-year career.
Worst case, if things do not work out, the Boston Bruins could just release him from his PTO.
Do you think signing Victor Olofsson to a PTO would be a good move by the Boston Bruins?
