This season has seen a couple of heartbreaking announcements come from former Boston Bruins players. Recently another one was issued to the media.

It was recently revealed that former Boston Bruins goaltender Anton Khudobin has called it a career from professional hockey.
The Dallas Stars, and many other news outlets went on to confirm this news on social media.
After 14 NHL seasons, Anton Khudobin has officially announced his retirement. 🙌

Look back at his career

Khudobin spent most of his time in the NHL as apart of the Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars organization.
He ended up playing a total of four years with the Boston Bruins in two different stints from 2011-12 to 2012-13, and 2016-17 to 2017-18.
Appearing in 62 games for the Boston Bruins, he had a record of 33-16-9 with a .914 save percentage, and a 2.50 goals against average.
In total, Khudobin has appeared in 260 career games over 14 years, playing for the Minnesota Wild, Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, and Chicago Blackhawks.
He had a pretty good career with a 114-92-33 record, .916 save percentage, and a 2.52 goals against average.
His best season ended up coming with the Stars in 2019-20 when he carried them during the playoffs, taking them to the finals with a 14-10 record.
