Recent report reveals two Bruins players will be leaving the team

It was just announce that two Boston Bruins players will be leaving the team in the middle of the 2024-25 season. The Boston Bruins will be represented on the international stage once more in 2025.

There's been an announcement by the team, that Captain Brad Marchand and Alternate Captain Charlie McAvoy will be competing internationally.

They will be taking part in the Four-Nations Face-Off, which includes rosters of NHL players from four different countries:

The NHL 4 Nations Face-Off is an ice hockey tournament scheduled to take place on February 12�20, 2025, in Montreal, at the Bell Centre, and in Boston, at TD Garden. Hosted by the National Hockey League and featuring only NHL players, the 4 Nations Face-Off will replace the NHL's annual All-Star Game for 2025

Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy will however go head-to-head as both will join their respective countries in 2025.

Rosters have been officially announced and both will be representing the USA and Canada in the tournament.

Brad Marchand (Team Canada) and Charlie McAvoy (Team USA) have been named to their respective country's rosters for the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off.

According to NHLers like Sidney Crosby:

You're going to see the best of the best during the tournament and who is to disagree with them, as the Bruins get represented on the World Stage.

In addition to Crosby, Canada will have defenseman Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche and forwards Nathan MacKinnon of the Avalanche, Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins, Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers and Brayden Point of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The United States will have defensemen Adam Fox of the Rangers, Quinn Hughes of the Vancouver Canucks and Charlie McAvoy of the Bruins, and forwards Auston Matthews of the Maple Leafs, Jack Eichel of the Vegas Golden Knights and Matthew Tkachuk of the Panthers.

Not to mention, a benefit of the tournament, is that Bostonians will be able to see three games during the month of February on the 17th.

Boston will host three games: We get a doubleheader on Feb. 17, with Canada vs. Finland and
Sweden vs. the United States. The championship game will be Feb. 20.

"I mean, the crowds are going to be great," Hughes said. "It's going to be just amazing for the sport to see that level of competition that we haven't seen in eight years since the World Cup. Personally, I think the League's never been in a better spot with the skill and talent that is out there right now, so it should be really exciting."

You won't have to go far to see Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy playing their best, they'll be right in Beantown in February.
