Report coming from an NHL insider confirms trade talks between the Bruins and two teams
A new report from an NHL insider has officially confirmed trade talks have erupted between the Bruins and two other teams.
With training camp just around the corner, trade talks have begun to surface regarding the
Boston Bruins trading forward,
Pavel Zacha.
According to NHL insider, Marco D'Amico, multiple teams have shown immense interest in Zacha, including the Montreal Canadiens, as well as the Calgary Flames.
D'Amico further reveals that the Canadiens have spoke to Boston regarding the 28-year old forward.
«He's on the Canadiens' radar,» D'Amico stated.
An additional report from James Murphy of RG.org expanded on the concept, noting that the Montreal Canadiens «definitely have interest in Zacha and have inquired about him,».
Murphy also added that the Flames are another team to keep an eye on.
However, while Montreal and Calgary are the only two confirmed teams who have shown interest thus far, sources suggest that there could undoubtedly be additional clubs monitoring the situation.
«Donny [Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney] is not shopping him This is just him doing his job and listening. I don't see this as something that would happen before American Thanksgiving. If the Bruins get off to another brutal start and the Holiday trade freeze is looming, well, then this could become a lot more than just listening, but that goes for other Bruins players too, not just Zacha.»
