Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman has etched his name into NHL lore with an extraordinary feat. With an astonishing .950 save percentage in a playoff series, Swayman joins the esteemed ranks of Bruins legend Tim Thomas, who achieved a similar milestone during the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals.
But that's not all. Swayman's stellar performance extends beyond just saving shots. He now holds the sixth spot in NHL history for the fewest goals allowed in a single playoff series.
Jeremy Swayman (.950 SV%) joined Tim Thomas (.967 SV% in 2011 SCF) as the second @NHLBruins goaltender on record to post a save percentage of at least .950 in a playoff series (min. 6 GP). #StanleyCup
With that being said the question now remains, who do you start for game 1 against the Florida Panthers? Jeremy Swayman has been really good for the Bruins so far, and Linus Ullmark had a good regular season against the Panthers.
Jim Montgomery has some tough decisions to make, stay tuned for further details.
