According to multiple NHL insiders, the Boston Bruins are completing a deal with restricted free agent Morgan Geekie.
The Bruins have been working on signing Morgan Geekie ever since the regular season came to an end.
Don Sweeney made two signings official today whenever he announced the signing of defenseman Michael Callahan and Marat Khusnutdinov.

Now he is reportedly set to finalize another contract.

According to Chris Johnston, the Boston Bruins are set to finalize a deal with restricted free agent Morgan Geekie:
The #bruins are finalizing a contract extension with RFA Morgan Geekie, per sources.
Don Sweeney earlier in the week stated that the Boston Bruins were not really close to signing Morgan Geekie to a contract extension.
But he did state that with these types of things, all it could take is one phone call to figure things out.
