The Boston Bruins picked a diamond in the rough when they signed goaltender Linus Ullmark to a four year contract back in 2021.

Sure, Ullmark looked good in Buffalo. But no one predicted the 2022-23 season he had, where he tallied a 1.89 GAA and a .938 SV%.

Being a sixth round pick by the Buffalo Sabres in 2012, there wasn't a high ceiling for him. However, Linus slowly rose and eventually ended up splitting games with Carter Hutton after bouncing back and forth between the NHL and AHL. He took the starting job in the 2019-20 season. Ever since then, he's been considered one of the best.

Ullmark even scored a goal.

While his future is unknown with the Bruins, Ullmark's talent can't be denied, especially with him being a sixth round pick with a career .919 SV%. The only thing he's missing is a Stanley Cup.
