Even though Brad Marchand isn't playing for the Boston Bruins anymore, he is still tormenting the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.

Brad Marchand ended up getting traded by the Boston Bruins, and requested to go to the Florida Panthers during the NHL trade deadline.
Recently Marchand spoke out on why he wanted to get traded to Florida, and his reasoning was because he wanted to chase another Stanley Cup, and felt like Florida was the right team for that.
«That was the team that I wanted to be traded to. You're looking for the best opportunity to chase a cup.» 🐆

Brad Marchand and his Panthers teammates discuss him joining the team and quickly building chemistry.
Despite being in the second round, Brad Marchand and the Toronto Maple Leafs are facing up against each other once again, but the Leafs have had the upper edge so far in the series.
But the Panthers ended up being able to find a way to come back after going down 2-0 to the Leafs quick in the first period of game 3. The Panthers took a 4-3 lead into the third period, but the Leafs found a way to come back and tie up the game, and force overtime.
Brad Marchand once again stepped up to the occasion and ended up scoring the game winning goal against Joseph Woll, finally giving the Panthers some life in the series after being down 2-0.
The 2011 Stanley Cup Champion has ended Toronto's season multiple times before, and most recently was in 2023-24 when the David Pastrnak put the team on his back scoring the game winning goal in overtime during game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

By my count, Marchand has 12 goals and 21 assists in 31 playoff games vs Toronto
The Panthers now have some life after finally winning a game, but they have some work to put in if they want to get back into this series.
