Not long after being fired by the Toronto Maple Leafs, Sheldon Keefe has landed a new coaching job with the New Jersey Devils.
The first official report was made by Read Admiral who is a co-founder and co-host of the Spitting Chiclets podacast.
There were many rumours that were swirling around this week that there was a verbal agreement in place between Sheldon Keefe and the New Jersey Devils after being fired from the Leafs once they got eliminated from the playoffs by the Boston Bruins.
Pierre LeBrun a well known insider states the full details for the contract will be official on Thursday.
Sheldon Keefe will now be coaching a very young and hungry Devils team. It will be interesting to see how he does with the team next year.
