Artemi Panarin has a funny reaction to learning about Marchand's suspension
It's been about two and a half months since a dust up between Artemi Panarin and Brad Marchand ended in the former throwing a glove at the latter from bench to bench.
The Rangers have not played the Bruins since the November 26th meeting, but they are scheduled to meet tonight night in New York. Unfortunately for the Bruins, Marchand won't be in the lineup after he was suspended for 6 games for punching/high sticking Pens goaltender
Tristan Jarry on February 8th.
There was some talk about what would happen between the two players during their teams' next meeting, but since we won't get to see a continuation of the Marchand and Panarin feud tonight, we'll have to just wait until the next time the teams meet on April 23rd.
Panarin said on Tuesday that he didn't even know Marchand was out of the lineup due to his being suspended. The way he revealed his lack of knowledge of Marchand's suspension was absolutely priceless.
"I have a Nokia (flip phone), so I don't know," Panarin said on Tuesday morning.
Definitely a cheeky response from Panarin. He may not speak English very well, but he certainly understands humour.
