Over the last several days, we've been breaking down the top-five prospects in the Boston Bruins organization, up next the number two prospect.
Studnicka was the Bruins' second-round (53rd overall) pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
This is truly a make-or-break season for the 23-year-old, who recorded 10 goals and 25 assists in 41 games last season with Providence.
The 6'2'', 186 lb forward has collected 1 goal and 6 assists in 37 NHL games but has yet to stick with the big club. On July 23rd, 2022, the Bruins signed him to a two-year contract (two-way for this season and one-way in 2023-24).
''His game's maturing. It's rounding out.''
''He's got to watch the puck go in the net. He's got to get touches. He's got to play with confidence. He's done everything we've ever asked him to do. We asked him to get bigger, we asked him to get stronger. He's done those things. Now it's his time.''
Projected NHL arrival: This season
