With the Boston Bruins rolling, enjoying a record of 8-2-0 in their last 10 games, any type of reinforcement could hopefully continue to help them close the ground between them and the second place Toronto Maple Leafs.
With Bruins forwards
Brad Marchand and
David Pastrnak being constantly targeted by other teams with some dirty hits, the B's might just be getting the reinforcement they need.
Defenseman Adam McQuaid was back on the ice at practice with his teammates on Monday, it's the first time he's skated with the Bruins since he suffered a broken fibula October 19th.
His recovery was expected to be eight weeks, and it seems right on track.
Hopefully he'll be ready to lace them up very soon as the Bruins could use a bit of an extra physical presence to help protect some star players.
