As we wait to find out what the Boston Bruins' protection list looks like for the expansion draft, we're getting a clearer picture of who won't be back regardless.
We heard from NHL insider Elliotte Friedman that
Taylor Hall would be hitting the open market for free agency and he'll be joined by another Bruin.
According to Bruins' reporter, Matt Porter, goalie Jaroslav Halak will be hitting the open market as well.
Halak's agent, Allan Walsh, confirmed the report and adds that Halak is healthy and expects lots of interest from around the league.
Over his three years in Boston Halak put together a 49-23-14 record along with a 2.40 goals against average and .918 save percentage.
His work was definitely appreciated.
