The 23-year-old defenseman has been linked to Boston for months and the latest news are looking good!
Jakob Chychrun is a monster on the ice and he's an asset all NHL teams would be glad to have. But playing for the 31st-ranked Arizona Coyotes has led many to believe that his time in the desert might be up.
The left-handed blueliner would be a perfect fit for the Bruins, and the latest trade rumours have only fueled speculations that he might be on his way to Beantown in the near future.
On the latest Insider Trading panel, TSN's Darren Dreger reported that many teams were in on the Jakob Chychrun sweepstakes, but that Boston was among the "primary suitors":
Chychrun is on fire as of late, recording eight points over his last five games played. The defenseman is under contract through the 2024-25 season and has an annual cap hit of $4.6M.
Who would say no to having that blast on the point?
