Bruins hire former NCAA player to help develop prospects

The Boston Bruins announced that they have hired Dorset, Vermont native, Danielle Marmer, as the organization's Player Development and Scouting Assistant.
The club released this statement:
''In her role, Marmer will work directly with Player Development Coordinator Adam McQuaid to help develop prospects throughout the entire Bruins system. Marmer spent the 2021-22 season as one of 12 participants in the Boston Bruins Diversity and Inclusion Mentorship Program. This program partnered participants with a mentor in the Bruins Hockey Operations department and provided hands-on coaching and networking opportunities.''
Marmer was previously Director of Player Development and Hockey Operations for Quinnipiac's women's team.
She spent two years as an Assistant Coach for the Connecticut College women's team, and has been involved in USA hockey camps as well.
In her playing days, Marmer was a forward for Quinnipiac of the NCAA who appeared in 132 games from 2013-17. She helped the club win an ECAC Championship in 2015-16.
