The Boston Bruins are looking to punch their ticket to the postseason.
It would mark the sixth straight season that the Bruins reach the playoffs, should they clinch this afternoon.
Set to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at 12:30 pm ET, the Bruins are looking to end their three-game losing skid and finally confirm their presence in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
While the B's have been depending on other teams' outcomes to determine their faith throughout the week, they now have full control over their destiny.
All the Bruins need to do is either lead the Penguins or tie them after the first 60 minutes of play this afternoon... and they're in!
The Pens are obviously no easy opponents for the B's, but with the Pittsburgh squad clinching their own playoff spot on Thursday and opting to leave starting goaltender
Tristan Jarry at home for today's game, we sure like the Bruins' odds of getting it done.
More on this in just a few hours!
