One NHL team is going to be very happy this summer, when they're awarded the first overall selection in the 2023 Draft.
Because there's probably no doubt now that
Connor Bedard is going first overall, and he continues to show why at the World Junior.
When Canada and Slovakia went to overtime tonight in the quarterfinals, Bedard scored one of the nicest goals in World Junior history to send his team to the semifinals.
The United States laid a thumping on team Germany today, as well, winning 11-1 and advancing to the semifinals.
