As per NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Boston Bruins have narrowed down their head coaching job to two names.
Previously, the two top candidates were David Quinn and Jay Leach, but according to Friedman, that's changed a bit.
Now Jim Montgomery joins Quinn at the top.
There's most likely a handful of candidates left, but as of now, Montgomery and Quinn are the top two.
It was reported that Quinn met or is meeting with ownership and we'd assume the same for Montgomery.
