The other day, a former Boston Bruins goaltender ended up getting claimed, and now it just took an unexpected turn.
Florida Panthers General Manager Bill Zito ended up
placing Bussi on waivers for purpose of re-assigning him to the American Hockey League, but it ended up taking a turn.
Bussi was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Hurricanes, and now it seems like he is going to get a chance at some NHL action with the organization.

The 27-year-old goaltender ended up leaving the Bruins organization in hopes to see some NHL action, and it looks like that's going to happen now.
After being claimed by the Hurricanes, many weren't sure if he was going to be sent down or not, but it was just confirmed.
Brandon Bussi has officially made the Hurricanes roster, and is slated to appear in some games.
