The Boston Bruins closed off their regular season calendar on Friday.
To do so, they travelled to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs for the third time this campaign.
However, unlike previous encounters, both franchises opted to give their star players some rest. The Bruins pretty much sat out both their top lines and top defensemen, so not much offence was to be expected.
The Bruins did score first, but unfortunately coughed up three straight to the Leafs after that, and were unable to claw their way back to secure the win.
