Future Hall of Famer Sidney Crosby signs a contract extension with the Pittsburgh Penguins
Future Hall of Famer and one of the greatest hockey players to ever play the game, Sidney Crosby has re-signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Pittsburgh Penguins took to X (twitter) to announce that Sidney Crosby has officially re-signed with the team.
Crosby signed a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and of course being the player he is, he signed a $8.7 million deal.
THE CAPTAIN IS COMMITTED.
The Penguins have re-signed Sidney Crosby to a two-year contract extension, running through the 2026.27 season and carrying an average annual value of $8.7 million.
The Penguins captain will end up playing at least 19 years in the NHL with a $8.7 million cap hit.
Crosby is still considered one of the best players in the NHL and is still producing at a crazy rate being 37.
