It was a long summer for Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug.
The B's blueliner had to spend the summer rehabbing a fractured ankle while constantly hearing his name mentioned in trade rumors.
With Adam McQuaid shipped off to New York, it should be pretty clear that Krug is around for at least one more season.
Now Krug can concentrate on his job, and it looks like he's gotten past another bump in the road after missing the Bruins trip to China.
Joe Haggerty of NBC Sports Boston reports that Krug has joined the Bruins for practice and looks like he's getting closer to getting a full green light.
