The Bruins forward asked for a trade in November and then signed a two-year deal with the team yesterday...

Jake Debrusk owed Bruins fans and media members an explanation for the way things went down over the past few months.
The B's forward had always been clear he wanted to be traded, but then made headlines yesterday when he inked a two-year $4M deal with Boston.
Many thought it was an easier way for Don Sweeney to trade the free agent to be, but Debrusk ended up sticking with the B's and facing the Habs last night.
From his latest comments, Debrusk sure looks happy he stuck around for the upcoming Cup run the red-hot Bruins are gearing up for.
