The Atlantic Division was victorious at the 2023 All-Star Game this past weekend, thanks to Bruins' Jim Montgomery.
It turns out that the head coach wasn't alone, however, as his son J.P. provided some much need help behind the bench. As the two shared afterward, he even made one move that made a massive difference.
The Montgomery's met with The NHL Network post-tournament, and J.P. shared a cool funny from his day:
''I didn't do much but I did suggest to switch a few lines. Because in the first game Kucherov, Pasta and Dahlin were a line and they did not do well.''
Maybe we'll see J.P. Montgomery behind an NHL bench someday. He clearly has his dad's hockey mind!
