Max Domi is enjoying somewhat of a bounce-back season with the Chicago Blackhawks this year, and he used it to throw shade at one of his former teams.
The 27-year-old has been a suitcase to start his career, as he's skated for five different teams in eight seasons (Coyotes, Canadiens, Blue Jackets, Hurricanes and Blackhawks).
However, prior to Chicago's last game before the holiday break, which was against Columbus, Domi was about his time with the Blue Jackets organization. According to Mark Lazerus of The Athletic, the winger took the opportunity to throw a low blow at the city.
''I'm pretty excited, actually. My whole family's here. I was in Columbus for two years, so I didn't get many visitors. All of a sudden I'm in a nice city, so my whole family wants to come. I don't know if it's me or the city.''
Domi, who signed a one-year deal with the Blackhawks in the offseason, has registered 11 goals and 12 assists in 32 games. The former 12th overall pick has 111 goals and 224 assists in 532 career games.
