Now that's not something you see every day.
A current NHL player that lives on a college campus? That's exactly what
Marc McLaughlin is doing right now.
Despite the sounds of that, the Bruins forward is living the dream these days. McLaughlin signed a two-year entry-level contract with Boston in early March and has been enjoying the wild ride since.
The hometown kid joined the B's after completing his senior season with the Boston College Eagles, so he hasn't had much time to settle into his new role, let alone in a new place.
With that being said, McLaughlin hasn't moved off the Boston College campus yet. What's even funnier is that he is still sleeping in his dorm room whenever the Bruins are in town!
As mentioned in the video, McLaughlin definitely plans on moving out once school is over and the NHL season is in the books. But for now, he's been playing so well that he's too surpersticious to change anything in his routine.
We get it though. Anyone who scores his first NHL goal in his first NHL game will definitely be looking to keep things intact for as long as he stays hot!
