ON THIS DAY: David Krejci nets first NHL goal vs the Senators (VIDEO)

Since being selected in the second round (63rd overall) by the Bruins in 2004, David Krejci has turned into one of the best, and most consistent players in Boston.
And on this day 15 years ago, Krejci made his first impact in the NHL when he scored his first career goal in a 4-0 win over the the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden.
In his 42nd career game on February 26th, 2008, Krejci made it 2-0 with 2:37 left in the first period when he put a Peter Schaefer rebound past Martin Gerber:
Prior to his first goal, the then 21-year-old had 12 career assists. He also followed it up with goals in the next two games against the Penguins and Atlanta Thrashers.
Krejci finished his rookie season with 6 goals and 21 assists in 56 games.
The career-long Bruin has gone onto skate in 1,015 games, registering 228 goals and 549 assists with the Black and Gold.
