The New York Rangers surprised a lot of people by defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-2 in game one of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Lightning goaltender
Andrei Vasilevskiy went from giving up three goals in four games to the Florida Panthers to doubling that total in one game against the Rangers.
If you were to place a bet on game two, you'd feel pretty safe putting your money on Tampa Bay, who came into last night with 17 straight wins after a loss in the playoffs.
Rangers deserve all the credit they're getting right now. New York is proving they belong in the Conference Finals.
There's a good chance that Tampa Bay is finally running out of gas after winning back-to-back Stanley Cups, but the series is far from over.
Game three will be on Sunday in Tampa.
