Rick Middleton is an NHL legend, and he spent 12 of his 14 seasons with the Boston Bruins.
In 1,005 career games, Middleton recorded 448 goals and 540 assists for a total of 988 points. He also holds three NHL records:

- Highest playoff points per game average in one post-season by a right winger: (1.94)
- Highest playoff assists per game average in one post-season by a right winger: (1.29)
