Wayne Cashman played his entire 17-year career with the Boston Bruins, and he played every season tough.
Cashman was the last active player in NHL from the Original 6, and was the enforcer/grinder on one of the league's best forward lines with Phil Esposito and Ken Hodge.
And apparently, Cashman was just as much of a badass of the ice as he was on it. Judging by the story of the time he was arrested anyway!
As per @hockeybukakke on Instagram:
Wayne Cashman was once arrested and used his one phone call to order Chinese food to the police station. The officers were not amused & he did not receive or get to eat his food.
Cashman served as the captain of the Bruins from 1977 to 1983, and before that, hoisted the Stanley Cup with Boston in 1970 and 1972z
