A Boston Bruins player has officially been named captain

An announcement from Boston College revealed that a Boston Bruins prospect will be a captain for Boston College this upcoming season.
On August 18th, Boston College ended up revealing the three players that will be captains for the team entering the new season.
Boston Bruins prospects is going to be wearing the "C" for the Eagles in the 2025-26 season, joined by Brady Berard and Lukas Gustafsson.

Andre Gasseau will be our captains for the 2025-26 season!
Andre Gasseau is coming off a career year
The 6-foot-4 forward is entering his senior year with the Eagles after having a career year last year.
Gasseau ended up setting new career highs with 15 goals, 15 assists, 30 points and a plus-23 rating in 36 games last season.
He was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 7th round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Over his 112 collegiate appearances, Gasseau has put up 37 goals, and 88 points.
Despite being a late round pick, Gasseau has some offensive upside, that has only gotten better every year since being drafted.
He has soft hands which also allows him to control difficult passes while in stride, and can turn them into dangerous opportunities.
